The Last Black Dragon Chapter 2

Chapter 01
Chapter 01
*

Efficient as ever, I decided to act immediately.

After Bai Mu had his fill of fun, I brought him to a nearby tavern to eat and drink. Hidden in his cup were a few drops of a special knockout potion crafted only for dragons.

When Bai Mu woke, his eyes widened with shock as he stared at me.

"Qing Yao, what are you doing? What did you use to tie me up?"

"The Mystic Binding Chains," I said with a smug smile, "How else do you expect to bind a dragon?"

With a playful, proud tilt of my chin, I announced, "I hereby declare you my husband, and I am your bride. We can start our wedding night right now."

Bai Mu struggled desperately. "Qing Yao, you’re crazy. I’m the Young Master of the Bai Family. Kidnapping me is practically signing your death warrant."

But his struggles were useless against the enchanted chains.

"Don’t worry, I’ve got this under control," I reassured him. "I already tossed all the tracking charms from your body. Now, if you scream to the heavens or call upon earth, no one will hear you. I set up a perfect barrier around us no outside sensing at all."

Giggling, I started pulling at Bai Mu’s pants.

Seeing his panicked shout made me pause: "Stop, Qing Yao. I’m not of age yet. We can’t consummate the marriage."

I blinked in surprise, realizing an important detail.

Baiyun Town was preparing for Bai Mu’s coming of age ceremony, which wouldn’t be for another three months.

What was I going to do? I’d finally kidnapped my fiancé, but he wasn’t even legally an adult yet.

"Well, I still have to check under your pants," I said determinedly, thinking for a moment, "Gotta make sure, just to be safe."

Ignoring Bai Mu’s protests, I forcibly yanked down his pants.

"Qing Yao, you shameless snake demon." He curled up on the bed, sniffling pitifully. "I’m ruined. My mother was right all those women outside are liars and tricksters."

I eyed him critically, then nodded with satisfaction. "Good, big, and clean." I helped him pull his pants back on, still inspecting him with a teasing smile.

Bai Mu turned away, tears glistening in his eyes, burying his face in the pillow.

"You shameless snake demon, you lecherous pervert."

I hurried to comfort him: "Hey now, don’t be so sad. Most people don’t even have wives, but look at you, not even an adult yet and already married. I'm smart, beautiful, and charming. I’m a catch as your wife. What could possibly be wrong with that?"

"I don’t want it. You filthy, lustful snake demon." Bai Mu continued sobbing, clutching my pillow tightly. "You’re just a snake, yet you dare kidnap me, the young master of the Bai Family. And you pulled down my pants. I am Bai Family’s pride I’d rather die than marry a merciless snake demon like you."

His tears and fierce words only made me more excited. Such a cute, spoiled little white dragon perfectly fits my taste.

"Stop crying, little Bai Dragon. I’m not a snake demon." With a flourish, I revealed my true form an immense jet black dragon, scales gleaming like polished obsidian under the moonlight.

"Listen, I brought you here to have some little dragons together. If you behave, I won’t hurt you. Once I hatch my dragon eggs, I’ll let you go all this will be a secret, and you can return to Baiyun Town and marry as many little white dragons as you want."

"You’re not a snake demon?" Bai Mu’s eyes widened in shock, but his stubbornness remained.

"Even if you’re a black dragon, it doesn’t work. Black and white dragons split long ago, we don’t belong together."

He sniffled. "Let me go. If my parents find I’m missing, they’ll come looking, and you’ll be in big trouble."

"No way. You have to have a few dragon eggs with me first," I said firmly, refusing his demands.

Since Bai Mu was not yet of age, I decided to keep him until his coming of age ceremony was over. Three months wasn’t too long just a short nap in dragon time.

But I couldn’t get comfortable because Bai Mu kept trying to escape. He wriggled and struggled fiercely against the Mystic Binding Chains, which I had carefully enchanted to restrain but not harm him.

Every time he tried to sneak out of the room, I would catch him once even disguised as a flying fish spirit. The audacity.

I had to be vigilant.

To keep him from getting lonely, I taught him how to practice small spells and the secrets of dragon lore sometimes he was a quick learner, other times he’d just sulk and throw a tantrum.

At night, when he finally calmed down and snuggled under the blanket, I would tell him stories of old Black Dragon legends how the Hei dragons used to rule the skies with fire and pride.

Slowly, he stopped calling me "that lustful snake demon" and started muttering "Qing Yao" with a hesitant tone. Still, I knew the road ahead was long and complicated. All I knew was, this little white dragon wasn’t just my captive he was slowly becoming the most important thing in the world to me.

The Mystic Binding Chains kept him tied up tight. He’d tried escaping several times already, but each time I caught him and dragged him back. If he managed to slip away, then who would I have to father my little dragons?

"My precious Bai Mu, time to eat," I called softly. "Look, I personally dove into the river and caught this dragonfish just for you. Then I cooked it myself braised to perfection. Smell it. Doesn’t it smell amazing? Come on, take a bite."

I carried the braised dragonfish over to Bai Mu and gently urged him to eat.

"I’m not eating." That stubborn little dragon was still resisting, hoping I’d let him return home.

"I am the Young Master of the Bai Family. I will not be tamed by you, some unreasonable black dragon. I have dignity."

Seeing how stubborn he was, I sighed and sat down to eat by myself.

The dragonfish was delicious, but they were so rare that I never dared to eat them often before. Today, I finally indulged.

Bai Mu saw me ignoring him and instead of starving himself, he soon hungrily started eating the dragonfish, almost finishing it off and suddenly his eyes widened with panic.

"Wait. Wasn’t that food for me? Why did you eat it all yourself?"

See? When I offered it, he refused; when I ate it, he got upset. How can a little Bai dragon be so hard to please?

I swallowed the last bite with a grin, meeting his anxious eyes with a teasing smile. I went ahead and drafted a strict three-month training plan for taming the little white dragon and started enforcing it immediately.

First, every day I showered him with kind words telling him how much I liked him, adored him, and cared for him so that he’d believe I truly cared.

Second, I always prepared delicious meals for him. When he refused to eat, I just ate it myself. After a few rounds of this, he stopped throwing tantrums and obediently ate his meals no more stubbornness about food.

Finally, when he behaved well and listened, I granted him small freedoms taking him around the Dragon Gully for walks. Although I didn’t let him roam entirely free, this eased the tension and kept him from completely hating me.

"My Bai Mu baby, you were such a good boy today," I said one evening. I planted a big smack on his cheek. "As a reward, you get to sleep with me tonight."

Bai Mu’s face flushed crimson, and he deliberately turned his head away to avoid looking at me.

Lately, I started pushing my luck bit by bit. During the day, I showered him with all kinds of affection gentle words, sweet talk, and lots of tender care doing everything to build our bond. At night, I would sneak in and try to share the bed with him.

At first, he resisted fiercely. Then he tried his best to set clear boundaries. Now, he’s slowly getting used to it.

All of this was part of my master plan.

After all, he’s the father of my future offspring. I can’t let things get too tense between us when the kids grow up and ask, it wouldn’t look good if I had to admit I forcibly took their dad, right?

So I keep working hard to build genuine feelings until Bai Mu finally comes of age
